The big polar bear photo that was used to gain sympathy for the so called dying species and for the promotion of global warming is utterly ridiculous. This is due to the undeniable fact that the so called photo was taken in august were the ice caps are already melting. If it was taken at any other time it could be considered as a possibility that global warming is involved. What people are claiming on polar bears drowning is also a very thin claim considering that polar bears drown every year we just now have the technology to see how many actually do. for most animals this is true so I'm going to assume that its also true for polar bears. with warmer weather there tends to be more wildlife so for a major predator in the environment that tends to mean more food. it only takes reasoning to see that more wildlife should be a good thing.

The media is interested in global warming for the same reason politics are. It’s gained some momentum in the public and now that there is a call for information both parties are going to show some commitment. In the case of the media it is for personal gain. The media is conveniently based on ratings and popularity. With several different types of media and within those different types many more different sources it’s only natural that the competition is motive. With the people having more access to information the media now tends to side with either the politics or what will give them more ratings sometimes these overlap such as the case of global warming. With multiple politicians giving claims for and against global warming its given the big news groups sides to choose upon. When the lines are drawn both sides will bring in whatever specialist that will provide them with the information that backs the story. Most media will even bring in the opposition just so they can bring in another specialist to debunk them. Its almost like the old school playground were the popular kids would bring in people just to show everyone else who’s really the top dog per-se.

In Al Gores an inconvienant truth he uses knowledge to persuade the audiance that global warming is a real phenomenon that is affecting our planet and causing damage. I am not a sophist to debate issues without the belief that I may have some general information upon the subject or have an indepth insight upon it. This knowledge is supposed to be truth. I tell you there is only one truth in this world. Cogito Ergo Sum. For there to be truth there must be knowledge and this has no knowledge.
